Website Redesign
Production Status: We have completed the graphic design of the new site and created a few mock up pages to show you the new look and feel. These are not working website pages, but rather images of how the working pages will look. We created the homepage and a couple sample inner pages (missing and reunion homepage) to give you an idea. Next we take the master Photoshop files from which these mock ups where created and use them to "theme" the actual pages of the site and program the navigation links and all the new features we're building in such as the database, forum, class page, etc. If you have a personal page in the old site, we'll port your info over to the new site. Once the site is done, you'll be given a login username and temporary password so you can access your page and update the text yourself! You'll be able to upload pictures too, but just to your page. If you don't have a page and want one, unlike before where I built it for you upon request, you'll be able to register in order to create your username and password and a template profile page will automatically be created and then you can add text and pictures. Plus they'll be a full featured forum. Here's a link to the mock ups. It will take you to the homepage, click the center of the page to go to the inner Missing mock up, click the center of that to go to the next sample page. Remember these are just finished art, but not working pages. Enjoy!

Background:
We are rebuilding the SHS website from scratch to bring it up to current Web 2.0 standards. As some of you know the site was done gratis and we've had it hosted for free too for the past 15 years. It's getting harder to keep in touch and up to date with everyone and we don't have time to update the site manually any longer.
It will be a database driven site where each of us have our own account, username and login just like you do with Facebook or LinkedIn or any of the other social sites. While this kind of site is not inexpensive, I am going to have my company do it for just the design and programming AKA better than wholesale.
Some Of The New Site Features:
Modern Web 2.0 Drupal Database driven website
Everyone gets their own account, username and password
Your own profile and iBook type page (IF you want to have a public page, your choice)
Ability to update your page without knowing any HTML or programming, just like writing a Word document!
Ability to upload your pictures, PDFs, etc.
A proper Forum!
A database so we can keep you all informed and be able t mail blast you sparingly
Design: depending upon if we raise enough so I can put my lead graphics designer on this, an updated look and feel
Many thanks!
